The country’s No. 1 real estate developer, Ayala Land Inc (ALI), embarks on providing its brand of masterplanned and integrated land development to Iloilo City. Named as Atria Park District, this 21-hectare mixed-use development aims to bring the Ayala lifestyle experience closer to the Ilonggos.

Ilonggos can expect the same quality of development as that of Ayala Land’s projects in Bonifacio Global City and Nuvali in Laguna – lots of green spaces, retail strips, offices, residential condominium, and a modern health care facility.

Located right at the heart of Mandurriao’s emerging Iloilo Business District, the Atria Park District is very much accessible to:

  • Molo (Molo Church, The Medical City Iloilo)
  • Other emerging business centers (Megaworld’s Iloilo Business Park and Gaisano’s Iloilo City Center)

What’s inside the Atria Park District and what is the status of its development?

The Atria Park District would be the largest Ayala Land investment in Panay Island with its Php 15 billion capital expenditure programmed in the long term. The components of this development include:

1. QualiMed Hospital Iloilo

Qualimed Hospital Iloilo

Ayala Land Inc, with its partner, Mercado General Hospital Inc, aims to provide modern and quality health care services to Ilonggos with its first QualiMed Hospital outside Manila.

Built with a capacity of 100 to 150 hospital beds, QualiMed Hospital Iloilo complements ALI’s strategy of completing the offerings in their integrated mixed-use developments such as in the case of Atria Park District.

It has always been our vision as medical practitioners to provide quality medical care to as many Filipinos as we can possibly reach. We are in the middle of the journey and partnering with Ayala Land helped us take a big leap towards fulfilling this dream,” said Edwin Mercado, president of Mercado General Hospital Inc.

Construction of the hospital is almost finished and will be ready for opening by  3rd quarter this year.

2. The Shops at the Atria

The Shops AtriaIn keeping up with Ayala Land’s vision of integrated, sustainable and mixed-use development, Atria Park District shall include its retail and dining center called The Shops @ ATRIA. It shall incorporate energy-efficient cooling systems and fixtures, wide canopies to provide shading, and wide open green spaces.

Tayala malls iloilohis retail center mixes both dining and shopping in one thriving spot. An assortment of restaurants and retail and specialty stores shall be open to suffice one’s need for food, fashion and services.

Dining and shopping will never be the same again, especially when enjoyed in a relaxed and nature-inspired atmosphere.

The Shops at the Atria shall be managed by the Ayala Malls Group.

3. Seda Hotel in Atria Park District

Aimed to complement the needs of business travelers and tourists, the Seda Hotel Atria Park shall be easily accessible with the amenities and facilities of the Atria Park District. It shall be stone throw away from Iloilo Ayala Technohub and other future commercial and office developments.

The hotel shall be managed by the AyalaLand Hotels and Resorts Corporation (AHRC). It shall be located in front of the Pison Muscovado Chimney Monument, and beside the The Shops at Atria.

Update: Ground breaking of the Seda Hotel in Atria Park District was held last June 17, 2014. 

4. Avida Towers and Storeys (Residential Condominium)


True to its vision of providing the Ayala brand of lifestyle to Ilonggos, Avida Land Corp. (a subsidiary of Ayala Land Inc. is investing in one of the largest residential condominium complex in the city. In its masterplan, it shall feature 4 Avida Towers (approximately 14 storeys each), and 9 low-rise Avida Storeys (approximately 7 storeys each) located inside a 5.5 hectare property along Don Donato Pison Avenue in San Rafael, Mandurriao (across Ateneo de Iloilo).

Aimed for conservative Ilonggo real estate investors and homebuyers, this residential condominium project is an  investment with increasing value over time due to its strong emphasis to practicality, accessibility, and construction quality.

The first phase of Avida Storeys Atria and Avida Towers Atria has a total of 509 units. Both buildings were scheduled to break ground on the third quarter of 2013, with turnover expected by the third quarter of 2016.

5. Iloilo Ayala Technohub

The Iloilo Ayala Technohub is envisioned as a center for BPO companies and other office or commercial establishments in Smallville area. With its 4-level structure, the Iloilo Ayala Technohub already has Hinduja Global Solutions, PhilAm Life Insurance, and other restaurants such as Freska, Ocean City, and Floyds as its tenants.
