Residential Project Security
Definitely, another major consideration is the security of the village or vicinity where you plan to purchase your home. One of the most important things to check is if the Barangay Officials are active and conduct routine inspection in the evening and are easy to be accessed in case of emergency.
If you’re planning to buy a house within a gated village, check if there are guards stationed at the gates 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Security should be strict in letting visitors in to the subdivision and should be assisted by a CCTV or surveillance camera at all times. Roving guards also provide increased visibility and security in the area.
Also make sure that the perimeter wall of the subdivision is complete and is made of hard and durable materials.
Safety of Your Children and Elderly
Another related consideration is the safety of your children. Is the swimming area manned by a life-guard or provide a separate pool for the kids? Are there walking paths on both sides of the road for pedestrians? And are there speed limits inside the village to regulate cars and motorcycles?
Look inside the proposed property. Are the windows and doors can be locked securely and made of strong materials? Even the electrical system of the house and proposed fire exits in case of emergency should also be checked.
Though these are very minor details, nonetheless these are very important provisions inside your community that will help in securing the safety of your family.
